Trading Technologies is adding another prediction market connection for institutional traders. The company plans to integrate OG.com, Crypto.com's regulated prediction market platform, into its institutional trading infrastructure during the fourth quarter of 2026. The move will give professional clients access to event contracts through tools they already use to trade other financial products.
The integration also gives OG.com another distribution channel as Crypto.com expands its prediction market business. Rather than asking institutions to adopt an entirely separate system, OG.com can meet professional traders inside an established workflow.
OG.com Becomes TT's Second Prediction Market Venue
Trading Technologies isn't testing prediction markets with a single partner. The company already announced plans to connect with Kalshi, making OG.com its second prediction market venue. That distinction makes this latest deal considerably more interesting.
TT serves banks, hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, and other professional market participants. Once the integration launches, those clients will be able to access OG.com markets using TT's execution and algorithmic trading technology.
The planned connection includes:
- Access to OG.com prediction markets
- Institutional execution tools
- Algorithmic trading capabilities
- Clearing support
- Margin optimization tools
- Support for upcoming Crypto.com margin-based crypto futures
That puts prediction markets alongside products already familiar to professional trading desks rather than keeping them isolated inside consumer-focused apps.
Crypto.com Gets Another Route to Institutions
Crypto.com launched OG.com as a dedicated prediction market brand after reporting 40-fold growth in weekly prediction market activity over six months. The platform covers categories including sports, economics, financial markets, companies, climate and culture. Now the company is trying to put those contracts in front of a different audience. Institutional distribution could become increasingly important as the industry matures.
Consumer growth has driven much of the prediction market story so far, but professional participants bring different technology requirements and trading strategies. TT gives OG.com access to that audience without requiring Crypto.com to recreate the infrastructure institutions already use. The integration is expected during Q4, although neither company provided a specific launch date. That means the real test will come once institutions can actually begin using the connection.
Prediction Markets Are Moving Into Professional Trading
The bigger takeaway is what Trading Technologies is building around prediction markets. Adding Kalshi could have been treated as an experiment. Adding a second regulated venue starts to look much more like a new product category. Professional traders will also approach these markets differently from many retail users. Algorithmic execution, clearing relationships, and sophisticated risk management could become increasingly relevant if institutional participation grows.
You could eventually have multiple prediction market venues competing for professional liquidity alongside their existing battle for everyday users.
There are still important limitations. Contracts on separate exchanges aren't automatically interchangeable, while market rules, settlement sources, and liquidity can differ. Simply putting two venues inside the same trading system doesn't create one unified prediction market.
The Trade Handle Prediction Markets Take
The most important part of this announcement is that prediction markets are becoming something institutional trading infrastructure providers believe is worth supporting across multiple venues. Trading Technologies isn't simply connecting clients to one popular platform. It's building broader access to the category.
That could become an important next step for the industry. Retail users helped prediction markets explode into the mainstream, but deeper institutional participation could change how these markets trade and where liquidity comes from. OG.com now has another pathway to that audience, and Kalshi won't be the only prediction market competing for their attention.
