Crypto.com Review for 2026: Is Crypto.com Legit?

Crypto.com is a US prediction markets site, offering contracts in a range of topics, including sports and politics. With Crypto.com steadily growing, more markets are launching to keep the offerings fresh and competitive.

In this Crypto.com review, I’ll be discussing the selection of prediction markets, how event contracts work at Crypto.com, what you can expect in terms of deposits and withdrawals, plus much more. Everything you need to know before registering for an account will be revealed right here, so you can make an informed decision.

Let’s explore how Crypto.com prediction markets work

So, what is Crypto.com, and how do prediction markets work? If you are new to trading event contracts, I’ve got everything you need to know right here. Crypto.com works like most other prediction sites by allowing users to buy and sell event contracts that are linked to outcomes of real-world events. For instance, you could trade an event contract on a future outcome of an upcoming basketball match or the next US presidential election.

Prediction markets are framed with questions on future events, offering a selection of contracts for each possible outcome. You will then trade contracts based on the outcome you think is likely to happen. The prices fluctuate as more people trade, with the contract price indicating the probability. For example, if a contract is priced at $0.65, traders are saying that there is a 65% chance of that outcome happening.

Each correct outcome will settle at $1. So, if you trade an event contract at $0.65 and the outcome occurs, you will receive $1. As you paid $0.65 initially, you will gain $0.35 in profit. Likewise, if the outcome doesn’t happen, the contract settles at $0, and you will lose the $0.65 you paid.

Types of Crypto.com event contracts

You are likely already familiar with yes/no contracts, but Crypto.com offers more than this type of contract. Let’s take a look at the variety of contract types you will encounter here:

  • Yes/No: This is the most common type of event contract, where you will trade on a yes or no outcome. For example, “Will the price of gas drop this month?”. In this case, you will select whether you think this outcome is going to happen or not. If you think it will, simply buy the ‘Yes’ contract or vice versa.
  • Multiple Choice: If there are several possible outcomes, you will be presented with a range of outcomes to trade on. For instance, “Who will win the EPL?”. For this contract, you would view the list of potential winners and select which one you think is likely to win the EPL.
  • Range-based: You will trade on outcomes that predict a range, often numerical, with options like $25-$50 and $60-$100, and so on. Provided that the outcome lands within the selected margin, you will win. Users tend to enjoy this style, as it gives a fair amount of wiggle room and margin of error.

Predictions you can make at Crypto.com

I was pretty impressed with the selection of prediction markets I found in my Crypto.com review. Traders can currently buy and sell event contracts on sports prediction markets, politics, finance, and economics. While it’s a modest list, it’s steadily growing, and culture is launching soon, so you can expect the market depth to only get better from here.

Whether you are a fan of soccer, basketball, golf, or tennis, you will find a wide range of sports available at Crypto.com. You can trade event contracts on major US leagues, including the NFL, NHL, NBA, and MLB. You can predict outcomes on specific matches, individual player performance, and even the number of touchdowns or goals.
It won’t come as any surprise that Crypto.com offers a significant selection of crypto prediction markets, covering top cryptocurrencies, including BTC, ETH, LTC, DOGE, LINK, and BCH, making it one of the top crypto prediction market sites around. These contracts predict the price of most major cryptocurrencies by certain deadlines. For example, “Litecoin price on Saturday at 9:00 am ET”.
Finance is a recent addition to Crypto.com, covering a selection of local currencies, including AUD, USD, and EUR. You can also find contracts on Crude Oil, Gold, Silver, and even the Wall Street 30. For instance, you can predict whether the Wall Street 30 Index will hit a certain value before a set deadline.
Political prediction markets are one of the most in-depth markets I found during my Crypto.com review. I found varied contracts predicting outcomes on US elections, state elections, policies, and more. For example, “Texas Republican Senate Primary Winner 2026” and “Democratic Presidential Nominee 2028”.
As I scrolled through the economics event contracts, I discovered a good mix of US and global outcomes. For instance, “ECB Interest Rates in April 2026” and “US Recession by the End of 2026”. Whether you are interested in recent financial news or US government changes, this market covers a broad selection of contracts. You can even find contracts relating to tech here, making it a top tech prediction market site.
While it’s not yet available, I found a preview of what’s to come as I worked through this Crypto.com review. You can expect to find event contracts for outcomes on a range of culture prediction markets, including award shows, music, and cultural moments. I was given a sneak peek into 3 predictions, including:
  • Top Artist on Spotify 2026
  • Top Song on Spotify 2026
  • Video Game of the Year 2026

What you will love about Crypto.com

I found so many positives during my Crypto.com review. While there are a few downfalls, such as a lack of a Crypto.com signup bonus for prediction markets, there are so many reasons why users are choosing Crypto.com for trading event contracts. Here are a few of the reasons why Crypto.com stands out to me:

Crypto guides that are perfect for beginners

Whether you are new to using crypto or you need to brush up on a few things, Crypto.com is the best place for you. Even if you simply want to learn something new, Crypto.com has a list of tailored guides that are the perfect aid. I found a wide range of guides, including:

  • How to convert crypto
  • What’s a bonding curve?
  • Bitcoin vs. Solana
  • How to make a BTC payment

BTC to USD Converter

While it’s known as the BTC to USD Converter, it does so much more than that. You can convert any crypto or local currency in just one click. You can also track the live prices of all the supported cryptocurrencies, so you can maximize your deposits and withdrawals. For your ease, you can even tap common conversion pairings, such as BTC to AUD, BTC to BRL, and BTC to EUR, saving you time and hassle.

High-end security to protect your account

Crypto.com uses the latest and most advanced security features, including Passkeys, FIDO2, and HSMs. I also found MFA methods, including passwords, two-factor authentication, and biometrics. Thanks to the advanced security, you can completely lock down your account, keeping you protected from hacking. Even when it comes to withdrawals, whitelisting external addresses through email verification is mandatory for all users.

24/7 customer support

The customer support at Crypto.com is available 24/7. So, if you prefer to trade event contracts in the early hours, you can feel assured that if you run into any issues, the support team is always on hand to assist.

Latest news and information

It won’t come as any surprise that Crypto.com has a core focus on crypto. As such, you can stay updated with the latest prediction markets news, especially relating to crypto. Crypto.com hosts information on live prices, trends, and so much more, so you can stay informed.

Seamless website with easy navigation

When I first landed on the website, I was given a good overview of the main prediction markets. With sports being one of the most popular markets, it takes center stage on the homepage, including upcoming matches. After logging in, I easily found my way to the prediction markets, where I could select my preferred topic, such as sports, economics, politics, and more.

After tapping on my chosen market, I was presented with a list of all available contracts with a breakdown of the event date and contract prices. Each contract page offers a full breakdown of real-time data, including probability, contract outcomes, prices, and more. As the market fluctuates, you can return here to discover the latest figures.

It’s worth noting that you can’t use the website to trade Crypto.com event contracts. You will need to download the app to gain access to this, which I’ll cover in more detail further down. The website serves as a good hub, where you can discover the prediction markets, track the prices, and even reach out to customer support. Essentially, you can manage your account, but you can’t trade contracts.

iOS and Android app: Trade contracts on the move

Crypto.com is accessible through an app on both iOS and Android devices. While the site is perfect for accessing information, the Crypto.com app is what you will need to use to place predictions. The app uses the same theme, so you instantly recognize where you are. After using both the app and the browser site, I can honestly say that the app is so much easier to use.

As the app has been designed for mobile devices, it’s so much more convenient. I could switch between the prediction markets, make deposits, and check the latest stats with ease. The prediction market categories, such as sports, crypto, politics, and finance, are neatly organized, so I could find my way within a few taps.

Once you have traded a contract, you can check the results of your most recent contracts and even track your previous predictions if you want to reflect back on them. This is particularly helpful if you enjoy trading contracts on similar markets, as it can indicate trends. Overall, the app loaded fast, and I was able to move between pages with ease.

Crypto.com supports traditional and crypto payments

You can trade event contracts at Crypto.com with traditional payment methods and cryptocurrencies. If you prefer to use crypto but don’t have any, you can also convert your cash into crypto through the website. As you can see, Crypto.com has thought of everything. Of course, crypto is the most prominent payment method, with the site supporting 400+ options. Whether you prefer BTC, ETH, LTC, or DOGE, all of this and more is accepted.

Depending on your chosen method, deposits and withdrawals are fee-free. However, if you buy crypto with a credit or debit card, there may be some fees attached. The great thing about this is that Crypto.com fees are 100% transparent, so you are never surprised by any hidden fees. When it comes to fiat methods, the site accepts a range of currencies, including USD, GBP, and EUR. Whether you prefer debit/credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, or bank transfer, there are plenty of options to suit traders.

Fantastic customer support was found during my Crypto.com review

No matter how great a prediction market site is, you will need to reach out to the customer support team at some stage. Whether it’s a simple query about your account, a complex question that needs some attention, or an issue that you need fast help with, all sorts of things crop up over time. I’ve spent a lot of time on these types of sites, and I usually have a few questions when I land on a new site - so, there’s no doubt that you will need some help, somewhere down the line.

Based on my experience, you can rely on the support at Crypto.com. Live chat is the first port of call for many users, and I can confirm that responses are near-enough instant. The live agents are friendly and knowledgeable, regardless of your query type. Whether you need help with a deposit, withdrawal, technical issue, or something else entirely, the live chat team can assist you.

Alternatively, you can seek resolution through email support. This is ideal for non-urgent issues that don’t need immediate attention. While the response time can vary depending on how busy the team is, you can generally expect a reply the same day. In my experience, most responses arrive within a few hours, which is completely satisfactory.

Is Crypto.com legit?

A key part of this Crypto.com review was weighing up the security and legitimacy of the site. Crypto.com is regulated by the CFTC (Commodity Futures Trading Commission), which is a US agency that makes sure the site is protected from fraud. I also found that the site is regulated by the SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission), which oversees the financial information from the company to ensure legitimacy.

When it comes to availability, Crypto.com is open to all US states except for New York and Arizona. Residents in New York and Arizona aren’t permitted to trade on any prediction markets. Having said that, there are some other state restrictions to be aware of. If you are located in Nevada, Ohio, Michigan, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, or Illinois, you are not allowed to trade on sports contracts. If you are in any of those states, you are perfectly fine to go ahead and trade contracts on other prediction markets.

When it comes to payment security, my Crypto.com review picked up on the fact that the site uses cold wallets. A cold wallet is a highly secure offline storage, which protects your accounts with private keys that don’t require an internet connection. By keeping it offline, it’s protected against online hacking, which is perfect for crypto.

Furthermore, your account can be protected with additional layers such as 2FA (two-factor authentication). 2FA requires a code every time you attempt to log in, proving that it’s you who’s signing into your account. This feature generates a temporary 6-digit code that is only valid for 30 seconds, so you need to request it when you are ready. 2FA can be enabled for a range of actions, including sending crypto to other users, requesting withdrawals, and whitelisting wallets.
