Fanatics Markets Review | Is Fanatics Legit?

Before starting my Fanatics prediction markets review, I didn't expect to receive a welcome bonus, just as I've experienced on other prediction markets. However, Fanatics Markets offered me two welcome bonuses to choose from. No promo code needed.

Now here's how the prediction market works: you trade contracts on several real-world events, including sports, cryptocurrency, politics, culture, and economics. Once the event occurs and your prediction is correct, you receive $1 per contract. Otherwise, you receive nothing in return. In this review, I'll explain Fanatics Markets' bonuses, usability, app, payment methods, customer support, security, and more.

Fanatics Markets bonuses – No promo code needed

Unlike several other major prediction markets, Fanatics Markets offers two welcome bonuses to new traders. I didn't need a promo code to claim my preferred welcome bonus. See what each offer entails:

Welcome bonus 1

This bonus seems to be suited for traders who may want to start with a lower amount. Fanatics Markets offers you $35 in Credit for trading $5 on any market. To claim the offer, register a new account on Fanatics Markets and place your first trade of $5. After that, you'll receive $35 in Credits within 72 hours. This $35 Credit expires in 7 days after the stated promotional period ends.

Moreover, I love that Fanatics Markets places no restrictions on the profits you get from using your Credits. Plus, you can use your Credits all at once to place a trade or divide them as you deem fit. However, the bonus must be played through one time.

Welcome bonus 2

Another welcome bonus option I received on Fanatics Markets was to trade at least $5,000 and get $500 Credit. This bonus is only available once you create an account and make qualifying trades during your first seven days on the app. Each trade must be priced at not more than $0.70. After meeting these requirements, you'll receive $500 in Credit within 72 hours. Like the first offer, you can use your Credits all at once or split them if that's preferred.

This bonus also expires in seven days after the promotional period ends. Also, you have to play through your Credits once, and there are no restrictions on the profit you receive from them.

How to claim the Fanatics Markets welcome bonus

Registering a Fanatics Markets account to claim your welcome bonus is pretty easy. Here are the steps involved:

After completing these steps, fund your account with the supported payment methods, such as Debit Card and Online Banking, and then place your qualifying trades. Note that Fanatics Markets is only available to US traders who are at least 21 years old.

Plus, you have to reside in one of its eligible states or US territories. These include: South Dakota, Alabama, Utah, South Carolina, California, Washington, Idaho, New Mexico, Delaware, New Hampshire, Florida, Nebraska, Oregon, Wisconsin, Georgia, Hawaii, Mississippi, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Maine, Rhode Island, Texas, Alaska, and Minnesota.

You can also participate if you stay in these US territories: Guam, American Samoa, the US Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico.

Receive Tier Points on Fanatics Markets

I was quite pleased to find that Fanatics Markets also features the Fanatics ONE loyalty program on the app. With this reward program, you get Fanatics ONE Tier Points for trading event contracts. The Points you receive depend on the size of the contract prices you trade. See the table below for clarity:

Contracts price range Tier Points received
$0.01 - $0.29 15 Tier Points for every $1,000 in trade volume
$0.30 - $0.70 7.5 Tier Points per $1,000 in trade volume
$0.71 - $0.99 2.5 Tier Points for each $1,000 in trade volume

As you collect Points, you ascend through the Fanatics ONE tiers, comprising five levels: ONE Member, ONE Member Pro, ONE Gold, ONE Platinum, and ONE Black. The benefits you receive for achieving higher tiers include access to Fanatics events and experiences. Note that, currently, you can't receive or use FanCash on Fanatics Markets.

Nonetheless, the Tier Points you accumulate can help you enjoy benefits in the Fanatics ecosystem. Moreover, you have to opt into the Fanatics ONE program to be eligible to receive Tier Points.

Usability – Fanatics Markets is easy to use

During my Fanatics prediction markets review, I was quite eager to see just how well the brand nailed its prediction market app. Turns out the app is pretty functional. You'll see the event categories listed horizontally at the top, including Sports, Crypto, Politics, Culture, and Economy. The Home tab is positioned next to them so you can easily find your way back to the home page.

Through the account icon in the top corner, I found links to Security, Help Center, and Edit profile. It also offers the option to deposit or withdraw your funds, even though the deposit button is next to the account icon on the home page.

The Fanatics Markets home page also features scrolling banners that showcase current offers. Moreover, there's a static bottom menu with options for Home, Live, Portfolio, and A-Z. The A-Z option lists all event categories in the app.

To test the app’s loading speed, I traded on several events, including two live tennis matches. The app didn't lag and responded to taps quickly. I also noticed that market fluctuations loaded promptly, which helped me make more accurate decisions.

At the bottom of the app, there are links to Fanatics Markets' information and contact support. In terms of design, the app uses black and white, which feels pretty simple and useful for keeping the prediction market's features clearly visible.

Fanatics app review on trading event contracts

You can only trade predictions through the Fanatics Markets app, which suggests it doesn't work on a website. It's available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. I compared how it works on Android and iOS devices, and I noticed the functionality is the same. It loads quickly on both Android and iOS mobile devices, and it maintains the same look.

In general, it does work well for trading event contracts on the go.

Payment options vary by state at Fanatics Markets

The first thing that became clear to me about payment options during my Fanatics prediction markets review was that methods vary by state. Moreover, the app doesn't support credit or prepaid card payments, even with debit cards or Apple Pay. The deposit options include Wire Transfer, Debit Card, Online Banking, and Apple Pay. If you use a Debit Card and Apple Pay, you may be charged a fee of up to 2%. However, no fee is charged for Wire Transfer deposits.

Note that the minimum deposit on Fanatics Markets is $10. For withdrawal, Fanatics Markets only support Debit Card and Online Banking. Apple Pay isn't accepted. Unlike deposits, the app doesn't charge a fee for withdrawals. Besides, after confirming your withdrawal, you're most likely to receive your funds in 3-5 business days through Online Banking, while a Debit Card takes just 2-3 business days.

Get help through email, contact form, and a help center at Fanatics Markets

When I contacted support during my Fanatics prediction markets review, I didn't find any live chat option. However, the app does offer email, a contact form, and a help center. The contact form is available on the website via the contact support link on the app. Both email and contact form offer responses within 24-48 hours. However, I received a response within 24 hours via both methods. Plus, the agents were knowledgeable and provided me with all the information I needed.

Moreover, the Fanatics Markets help center features topics on sign-up and eligibility, account management, deposits and withdrawals, and contact support. I found the help center useful for addressing common issues traders might face. Plus, I appreciate the Fanatics Markets 101 topic, which is valuable for beginners on the app.

However, I wish Fanatics Markets would offer live chat support in the future for faster assistance, even though the available methods are reliable.

First off, the Fanatics prediction markets and pricing are supplied by Crypto.com through its partnership with the brand. Crypto.com, as an exchange, is regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). Therefore, if you're wondering if Fanatics is safe for buying and selling event contracts, you can go through its regulation details.

Moreover, the prediction market ensures that only traders who are at least 21 years old can register on the app. It also provides tools to help keep your trading experience safe. You can set the deposit and session time limit after registering for an account. There's the option to take time out for 3-365 days, which temporarily deactivates your account if you wish. The self-exclusion tool is also available at any time you choose.

For greater protection, Fanatics lets you log in with your fingerprint. That means you can ensure that no other person has access to your account, including minors. Also, the prediction market employs standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information.

Fanatics trading explained – Trade sports, crypto, politics, culture, and economics contracts

Predict sports tournament outcomes with Fanatics

During my Fanatics prediction markets review, I found several topics I could trade event contracts on, including sports, crypto, politics, culture, and the economy. Moreover, the app enables you to buy and sell contracts on climate and company outcomes. However, let's discuss the major categories available on the app:

Sports

The number of sports events on Fanatics Markets was similar to the available options I noted in my FanDuel review of its prediction market. I found basketball, baseball, American Football, boxing, ice hockey, MMA, soccer, F1, tennis, and golf. The app provides outcomes on several soccer tournaments such as the Champions League, England Championship, Europa League, Serie A, Bundesliga, and more.

Market prices are sometimes presented in spread, total, and winner formats. However, the moneyline market is usually displayed as Winner, with only implied probability shown. For instance, in an NBA match between ORL Magic and PHI 76ers, I saw spread and total formats presented with their implied probabilities. In the spread market, ORL Magic was listed as +1.5 with an implied probability of 50%. PHI 76ers were at -1.5 with an implied probability of 51%.

In the winner market, ORL Magic had an implied probability of 47% while PHI 76ers had 54%. Note that the implied probability may go above 100% due to spreads or rounding. Similarly, Yes and No prices may total slightly above or below 100¢ due to bid-ask spreads. Moreover, displayed probability may show what's traded last and can differ from the available Yes and No quotes.

Futures are also available. For instance, I traded event contracts on Champions League Winner 2026, English Premier League Champion 2026, and Next Permanent Manchester United Manager.

You can build a combo by selecting outcomes from different eligible events. Plus, you can trade event contracts live on the app. However, I only found live outcomes on Tennis during my assessment.

Crypto

In the Crypto category, Fanatics Markets only feature outcomes on two cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin and Ethereum. For Bitcoin, I found three markets: When will Bitcoin cross 100k again?, Bitcoin all time high by, Bitcoin Price at the end of 2026.

Ethereum only featured one market: “Ethereum all time high by.”

Politics

The politics market available on Fanatics Markets majorly focuses on the US election, which is divided into US 2028 and US 2026. The international category only featured that of Brazil election, with the only outcome being “Brazil Presidential Election Winner 2026.” This was far less than the international outcomes I found during my PredictIt review.

For the US 2028 category, I traded event contracts on US Presidential Election Winner 2028, Democratic Presidential Nominee 2028, and Republican VP Nominee 2028.

Culture

Currently, Spotify and Video Games are the two categories available on Fanatics Markets. These include Top Artist on Spotify 2026, Top Song on Spotify 2026, and Video Game of the Year 2026.

Economy

Fanatics Markets presented three outcomes for this event category during my assessment. They are ECB Interest Rates in Apr 2026, Fed Decision in June 2026, and Fed Decision in Apr 2026.

When trading contracts on any of the above events, all you have to do is pick a side by buying Yes or No contracts. If your prediction is correct, you get paid $1 per contract. However, if the outcome contradicts your position, you receive nothing in return.

Note that the prices of each event contract show how much traders collectively believe an event will happen. Therefore, if most traders think an outcome will occur, the price of that event goes up, showing the event's implied probability.

Moreover, at the time of this review, Fanatics Markets charges $0.0034 to $0.02 for each event contract you trade through its app.

How to maximize your Fanatics Markets experience

I had a great time trading event contracts through the Fanatics Markets app. However, I noticed a few tips elevated my experience on the app. Here's what I advise:

If you're just starting out on Fanatics Markets, visit the Help Center page to find the Fanatics Markets 101 topic. The articles on this page will help you understand how trading event contracts work on the app. You'll even learn basic terms like spread, liquidity, bid, and payout.
Fanatics Markets has ensured that you can trade predictions in an entertaining and healthy manner by providing traders with responsible play tools. To access this feature, go to your account and click “Risk Management” and proceed to set your deposit and session time limits. However, if you feel like taking a break from the app, use the time out or self-exclusion tools.
Don't buy or sell positions just because it's popular. Instead, study what the outcome is all about before picking a side. For instance, if you're buying a contract on the “MLB World Series Winner 2026,” ensure you first note down the list of possible winners. Then, research on the team most likely to win the championship. Don't follow the crowd; instead, get some knowledge, as the market will settle based on what happens in reality.
If you face any issue while using Fanatics Markets, head straight to support unless you're sure you can handle things on your own. For instance, if your deposit isn't reflecting in your account, don't panic. Rather, send an email or use the contact form. Support can help resolve the issue within 24-48 hours. This will help prevent complicating any issue you might have.
You can make your time trading predictions through Fanatics Markets more rewarding by opting into the Fanatics ONE program. This will enable you to keep accumulating Points, which in turn helps you rise through the tiers for benefits like access to Fanatics signature events.
To reduce how much you might potentially lose, especially on events you're not quite sure about, buy contracts in small sizes rather than going all out. This approach can also help you understand how trading predictions work on Fanatics Markets. Moreover, you don't want to get involved in multiple markets while starting out on the app. First, limit yourself to one event at a time. Again, you're learning how Fanatics Markets work.

Conclusion – Trade event contracts on Fanatics Markets

At the end of my review, I found that Fanatics Markets offered me unique reasons to trade event contracts on the app. First, I got to choose between two welcome bonuses: trade $5 and get $35 in Credit, or trade $5,000 and get $500 in Credit. With both offers, you can use your Credits at once or split them on any markets.

Moreover, the Fanatics Markets mobile app is easy to use. It functions well on both Android and iOS devices. To begin trading event contracts, the app supports deposit methods such as Wire Transfer, Online Banking, Apple Pay, and Debit Card. However, only Online Banking and Debit Card are available for withdrawals.

When it comes to the types of events you can trade predictions on, Fanatics Markets offers contracts on sports, politics, economics, culture, and cryptocurrencies. These markets and their pricing are available through a partnership with Crypto.com. Note that Crypto.com is regulated by the CFTC.
