Kalshi Soccer Cup Gives You a Chance to Share $1 Million

Kalshi is going all-in on the World Cup, offering one of the best promotions available across prediction markets and sportsbooks. If you haven’t signed up for Kalshi yet, now is the perfect time to create an account and take part in the Soccer Cup.

The World Cup is one of the biggest sporting events in the world, and this year’s tournament begins on Thursday, June 11. To celebrate, Kalshi is giving users the opportunity to share $1 million simply by predicting the tournament winner.

How the Soccer Cup Works on Kalshi

The rules for the Soccer Cup are straightforward, and there’s no trading required. Kalshi is giving everyone a chance to win a share of $1 million just by signing up and making a selection.

The first step is clicking the registration link and choosing the country you believe will win the World Cup. You can select any nation participating in the tournament. Heading into the event, Spain, France, and England are among the favorites.

After making your selection, you’ll be prompted to create an account if you aren’t already registered. The signup process is quick and typically takes only a few minutes to complete verification.

If your chosen country wins the World Cup, you’ll receive a share of the $1 million prize pool. The prize money will be divided equally among all users who correctly predict the champion. However, that isn’t the only prize available.

Every eligible entry is automatically entered into a drawing for two tickets to the FIFA World Cup Final, regardless of which country is selected. The drawing will take place after the Group Stage, and the prize is non-transferable.

The tickets do not include travel or accommodations, and the entry window remains open until June 11 at 3:00 PM EST. Even if you’re unsure which team to pick, there’s very little downside to entering since every participant still has a chance to win the World Cup Final ticket package.

Soccer Cup Strategy

It’s important to remember that you’ll only receive a share of the $1 million prize pool if you correctly predict the tournament winner. Because of that, your primary goal should be selecting a team with a realistic path to lifting the trophy.

The challenge is that choosing one of the favorites could significantly reduce your potential payout. Spain, France, and England will likely attract a large percentage of entries, meaning any prize would be split among a much larger group of winners.

That’s why it may make sense to target a strong contender that isn’t expected to be as popular among participants. Argentina, Portugal, and Brazil stand out as appealing options.

All three teams have the talent and experience to win the tournament while potentially attracting fewer entries than the top favorites.

If you want to take a slightly bigger swing, Germany and the Netherlands also offer some value. Both nations have strong international pedigrees and enough talent to make a deep run if things break their way.

I wouldn’t recommend going much further down the board than that. Historically, true longshots rarely win the World Cup, and the odds become increasingly difficult to overcome. Uruguay is the only nation with championship pedigree among teams with longer odds, but even they face an uphill battle.

When making your Soccer Cup selection, finding the balance between win probability and expected popularity may give you the best chance at maximizing your potential payout.
