Mix of Big Wins on the Weekly Polymarket Leaderboard

Many prediction markets, including Polymarket, showcase their biggest wins each week, and the latest leaderboard featured a wide variety of markets. As has been the case for much of the past few weeks, tennis once again claimed the top spot.

However, basketball also had a major presence among the biggest winners, and the World Cup continued to generate significant trading activity. The number of World Cup related wins will likely increase as the tournament progresses, and one of the most active matches so far was Korea Republic vs. Czechia.

The Biggest Win of the Week

Polymarket trader Inaccuratestake has become known for generating substantial profits. The trader is one of the most successful users on the platform and has accumulated nearly $4 million in profit since joining in March 2026.

This week, Inaccuratestake backed Alexander Zverev to defeat Flavio Cobolli in a tennis matchup, and the trade paid off in a big way. The trader invested $4,971,548 on Zverev and received a payout of $6,161,126.

Zverev opened with an 83.5% win probability and looked dominant early in the match. He cruised through the opening set 6-1 before the contest became much more competitive.

After splitting the next three sets, Zverev entered the deciding set with his win probability having fallen to 59.5%. He responded by winning the final set 6-1 and securing the victory.

Spurs vs. Knicks

The Spurs and Knicks have been battling in the NBA Finals, and the series has become a major focus for prediction market traders. Game 4 presented some of the best trading opportunities of the postseason after New York completed an incredible 29-point comeback.

San Antonio appeared to be cruising toward a victory for much of the game, but a number of traders saw value in the Knicks during the second half and were rewarded for taking the risk.

OG Anunoby took over after halftime, while De'Aaron Fox struggled with several costly mistakes. New York stormed back and secured a dramatic victory on a game-winning tip to take a commanding 3-1 series lead.

One trader, PowerSupplyUnit, turned a $276,823 position on the Knicks into $1,121,538. Another well-known trader, Latina, transformed $819,541 into $1,498,843 during the comeback.

Latina ultimately posted the largest profit on the weekly leaderboard, earning $1,576,575 on nearly $10.5 million in trading volume. The performance further cemented the trader's reputation as one of the most active and successful participants on the platform.

World Cup: Korea Republic vs. Czechia

Czechia jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first half against the Korean Republic in their opening World Cup match. Korea entered as a sizable favorite and eventually earned the victory, but it took a late goal with roughly 10 minutes remaining to complete the comeback.

As Korea's odds dipped throughout the match, many traders saw an opportunity and bought in at a discount. Those willing to take the chance were rewarded handsomely when Korea found the winner.

One of the standout trades was by BreakTheBank, who purchased Korean shares worth $408,490. That position ultimately paid out $1,102,121, making it one of the largest World Cup related wins of the week.

The Trade Handle Prediction Market Take

Several different markets were represented among the week's biggest winners, which is always a healthy sign for prediction market activity. In recent weeks, the NBA Finals dominated the leaderboard and produced many of the platform's largest profits.

With the World Cup now underway, that trend could quickly change. Soccer is attracting massive interest from traders around the world, and I expect World Cup markets to begin dominating Polymarket's weekly leaderboard as the tournament moves deeper into the knockout stages.
